Despite some serious effort, I've never quite managed to get my head into digital stills photography... its never "clicked"... BOOM! HAVE THAT!
Since I was in school, I've used my dad's Canon AE-1, i carried it around college, uni and beyond. A few years ago, it developed a light leak, film got suddenly really expensive and I tried to get a digital replacement but it never felt the same and I stopped taking pictures.
Recently, I had the camera serviced and repaired at Sedean Cameras and purchased some 35mm 'Cine Still' film from West End Cameras. Its Kodak 500T motion picture film thats rehoused in stills rolls. I used to love the 500T stock when I shot film and although I'm personally all for digital shooting in motion picture, I'm excited to see how this takes stills, especially as its rated at 800ASA and so great for interiors and low light.
Looking forward to posting the results as they come in.
