Telling the story of the cultural revolution of 1960s London, I have been working as the Film Editor on this Feature documentary for over 4 years. With some of the world's leading names in film and music contributing to the production, it draws from over 1000 hours of archive and over 50 specially filmed interviews.
The documentary chronicles the rise of the iconic artists of the Sixties who reinvented everything, changing the face of the global popular culture forever.
Narrated by Sir Michael Caine, giving his own unique perspective on a decade that defined British music and creativity, the film will feature original contributions from British legends such as Sir Paul McCartney, Roger Daltrey, Marianne Faithful, Twiggy and many more.
The project, with so much material to draw from is a technical and creative mountain to climb. I am cutting in Avid Media Composer | Software using a prores proxy workflow, using a Facilis Terrablock for shared storage.
